OUR SERVICES
We have the qualifications and experience to provide expert advice and representation. As a small firm we can be committed to individual, personalised attention. It can also allow a budget that includes the best Barristers and experts when specialised expertise is required.
And because we work to build a long-term personal relationship with you our solutions are designed with you personally in mind and so can be practical, timely and cost effective.
We can assist with:
- Dispute Resolution and Litigation – we’ll try to help you solve the problem before it gets to court but, if there is no other way, we’ll work to protect your rights and entitlements by giving advice on how to, or helping you to, prepare and present your case in the best way we can.
- Building & Construction Law – Michael is a registered Adjudicator with years of experience so who better to help you navigate construction disputes? We know how difficult and complicated it can get because we’ve probably seen it several times before.
- Employment Law – for those times when it has become impossible and you need help with what is fair and what is not, ideally before taking drastic steps.
- Estate Planning – Wills and Superannuation for when you leave the cares of this world behind but still care enough to make it easier for those left behind; and Advance Health Directives and Enduring Powers of Attorney for in case you survive but can no longer make those decisions.
- Commercial Law – Michael has a Masters Degree in commercial law so should be able to help with most problems. Over the years we’ve dealt with a broad range of disputes so there’s a good chance we’ve see something similar before.
- Mediation – Dispute Resolution is what we do, with Michael practising as a mediator and arbitrator in the 1990’s and 2000’s and still representing or assisting parties to mediations.
COMMERCIAL LAW
If it has to do with an agreement or contract we can help. We provide a range of commercial advice tailored to small and medium companies and businesses. From start-up, buying or structuring a business to workplace health and safety and employment policies for regulatory compliance, from employment matters to contracts with suppliers or how best to wind up or liquidate a company we have done it before so we can help with relevant legal advice.
Do you need help with negotiating, drafting or interpreting contracts? What about making decisions relating to your business or company? Sometimes it is really useful to have a listening ear to bounce ideas off, but sometimes you really need advice on the legal implications of what you are considering to avoid a disaster.
